The Bell Buckle Cafe is amazing! It is not only a historical site. The service is the best ever. Home-made food that is delicious. They have a large menu of wonderful food and out if this world desserts. You are made to feel right at home when you come in. Do not miss the opportunity to experience the Bell Buckle Cafe. You will come back to visit time and time again.

We stopped here on our way back from Florida and absolutely loved it. We enjoy exploring small towns and trying local restaurants, and this one did not disappoint. The staff was wonderful, the menu was extensive, and the food was delicious. Be sure to save room for dessert—if cobbler is on the menu, it’s a must! We also tried the chocolate zucchini cake and OMG… it was incredible!

Will have to say this place is all of what I heard it to be. Call in to get a table, as this place will have a wait.Super friendly folks working there. The pulled pork platter was flavorful. Not too much smokiness but juicy. The pinto beans, green beans and corn casserole were great. My wife had the chicken platter and her food was good too.Nice location too.

On a business trip to Shelbyville TN and was recommended to done here - one of the best southern local restaurants I have ever been to and they’re black berry cobbler with ice cream is best thing to finish the dining experience

Bell buckle gets its name from carving in a tree of a cowbell and buckle thinking it was a threat to white settlers or good area for pasture. But if your in need of refreshment on your journey, the cafe is a timeless treasure full of home cooked meals, story's passed down from one generation to the next, and a place to call home while your here. Everything is good, and everything comes with a southern smile :)

The Bell Buckle Cafe is a lovely hometown restaurant located in the main plaza - Railroad Square. If you are driving through Bell Buckle, you can't miss it.The food is home cooked. They have an extensive menu. We had already eaten a large lunch before we got there so we tried a few sides. The curly chips are thinly sliced, deep fried potato ribbons. They are cooked to perfection and the texture is crispy. The fried biscuits are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They come with syrup and powdered sugar. They also serve RC Cola and a Moon Pie Sunday (Bell Buckle hosts the annual Moon Pie Festival).
